• Project approved by National Informatics Centre (NIC). 
  Grant-in-aid Project to build up IT Support for Dr.D.Swaminadhan Research Foundation and Its Mahatma Gandhi National Institute of Research and Social Action for undertaking Education, Research & Training and for development of database by providing computer systems with necessary systems software and connecting the system with NICNET/INTERNET through dial-up modem has been sanctioned by the NIC, New Delhi 
  National and regional data bases on the following have been prepared in collaboration with GISTNIC of NIC, Hyderabad: 
  i) Leading experts in various fields 
  ii) Voluntary organisations, and 
  iii) Rural Technologies.
   
• The Role of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) and the programme as the harbinger of Rural Development - A Study in Andhra Pradesh State is being taken up by School of Development Studies. The main objectives of the study are to examine the number of days of employment created and income generated in helping the poor people in alleviating in rural Andhra Pradesh.
• Research Project on Ethnographic Study on the Dulia completed by Prof. S.N. Ratha and Dr. V.L.N. Dash and submitted to Tribal Cultural Research and Training Institute, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
• Research Project on Ethnographic Study on the Paiko completed by Prof. S. N Ratha and Dr. V.L.N. Dash and submitted to Tribal Cultural Research and Training Institute, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
• Research Project on Ethnographic Study on Goudu completed by Prof. S. N Ratha and Dr.V.L.N. Dash and submitted to Tribal Cultural Research and Training Institute, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
• Research Project on Ethnographic Study of Bentho Oriya completed by Prof. S. N Ratha and Dr.V.L.N. Dash and submitted to Tribal Cultural Research and Training Institute, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh

• A Study on Functioning of Mini Gurukulams and Ekalavya Model Residential Schools in tribal areas of Andhra Pradesh completed by Prof. G. Ramachandraiah and Dr. V.L.N. Dash and is submitted to Tribal Cultural Research and Training Institute, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh
• A Study of the food habits and the dietary intake of a Primitive Tribal Group: An exercise to assess the nutritional status of and to suggest an intervention strategy for food security�, Prof. S. N Ratha and Dr. Vijayanthimala, for Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India, New Delhi.
• Minor Research Project on The Role of National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA) and the Programme as the Harbinger of Rural Development � A Study in A.P. State submitted to University Grants Commission (UGC) for approval by School of Development Studies (SDES).

• Major Research Project on Anti-Microbial Properties of selected traditionally used Herbal Plants sanctioned by University Grants Commission (UGC) to the School of Microbiology.
• Research Study of Phanigiri Hill Buddhist Site under the Buddhist studies centre to find the glory of Buddhist sites and study on ways of applying Buddhism to solve today's problems.
• Research study on Dr. B. R. Ambedkar under the ambedkar studies centre to propogate Ambedkar's ideas and ideals on society, economy and polity and his action to develop solutions to the issues and problems of India society arising out of institutions of caste and discrimination in the society.
• Reserch Study on Gandhian Thoughts to identify the relevant aspects of Gandhi's Vision to solve the contemporary Indian problems by providing a forum for scholors and academics though Gandhian Studies Center.
• Nehru Study Center conducting Research Study on Vision and ideals of Jawarharlal Nehru and their application and impact on socio-political developments.

• AD-HOC Research Project on Malaria susceptibility among the Scheduled Tribes and Scheduled Community of North Costal Andhra Pradesh submitted to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) for approval by School of Biotechnology (SCBT)
• Minor Research Project on In Vitro primary screening of starch utilizing microorganisms using sago starch  submitted to University Grants Commission (UGC) for approval by School of Microbiology (SM).
• Minor Research Project on Proposal for the study of oral hygiene among minigurukulam students submitted to Andhra Pradesh Tribal Cultural Research & Training Institute for approval by School of Microbiology (SM).
